Methods of distribution of
indie music
Indie music is independent music artist recording a song or
album on and independent record label. Either the music label with distribute
the music or the independent artist will place their music on sites such as
YouTube, iTunes, Spotify, Grooveshark, Soundcloud or even social networking
sites and then an established record label may discover the artist or music and
then give them a contract. Independent
artist also distribute their music on podcasts or even radio, other methods are
word of mouth, printed publication, shops and television.
